Financial Times Names Essnova Solutions Amongst America’s Top 100 Fastest-Growing Companies in 2022

Birmingham technology firm Essnova Solutions has been named one the fastest growing companies in the Americas according to the Financial Times. The Financial Times ranked Essnova Solutions the 20th fastest growing company in both North and South America, beating out major names such as Uber, Lyft, Tesla, and Netflix. The list was compiled with Statista, a research company, and ranks entrants from across the Americas by compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in revenue between 2016 and 2019.

Sridhara Gutti, CEO and president of Essnova Solutions, said it’s exciting to represent Birmingham on such a highly competitive list. Gutti said the company, which also ranked highly on the Inc. 5000 list, experienced significant growth in 2020, despite the pandemic. Gutti said Essnova pivoted quickly, benefiting from the overall pivot to technology that occurred nationally over the past year. Gutti said the company plans to continue to expand its federal contracting while also growing other areas of the business, including work with commercial clients, state and local governments, and the education sector. Essnova is looking to hire both business development and tech workers and would love to grow that headcount in Birmingham. But the company is also considering opening satellite offices in Washington D.C., Huntsville, Atlanta, and, possibly, Colorado. The company is currently headquartered at Innovation Depot. Gutti said the company is also looking to do more in the environmental space, such as environmental remediation, and in connection with the new infrastructure initiatives planned by the Biden administration.
