Stennis Space Center, MS – Birmingham, AL-based geospatial firm Essnova, a member of the Enterprise for Innovative Geospatial Solutions (EIGS) Cluster, announced the General Services Administration (GSA) has awarded the firm a 5-year 70 Schedule Contract (5/17-5/22) with over 24 labor categories. IT Schedule 70 is a Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contract for commercial IT products/services that are available to federal agencies worldwide. It is one of the largest contracts in government used by agencies to purchase technology products and services.

Essnova has been approved to compete as a prime contractor for awards under category (SIN) 132-51—Information Technology Professional Services—which include resources and facilities management, database planning and design, systems analysis and design, network services, programming, conversion and implementation support, network services project management, data/records management, and related services.

While Essnova currently provides these services as a prime and/or subcontractor under other Federal contracts, award of the GSA IT 70 Schedule will allow the firm to considerably broaden its competitive reach and pursue opportunities as a Prime contractor across Government agencies that purchase services through this schedule.

Birmingham, AL – December 19, 2016 – Essnova Scores 94% out of 100 in Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) Open Ratings Past Performance Evaluation (PPE)

Essnova announced today that it achieved an overall score of 94% from its customers in D&B Open Ratings Past Performance Evaluation (PPE). Essnova scored in the “Top” Quintile, among peer firms.  The report assesses the company’s performance relative to its peers in the same industry and is often requested as part of a vendor bid process. The evaluation include detailed performance ratings in the areas of Reliability, Cost, Order Accuracy, Delivery/Timeliness, Quality, Business Relations, Personnel, Customer Support, and Responsiveness. The report demonstrates outstanding overall customer satisfaction relative to other peer firms in the industry.

The PPE report provides an independent assessment of a company’s past performance by utilizing survey feedback from customers who can evaluate a company’s performance as a supplier from recently ordered products and services along with independent business intelligence and analysis by Open Ratings, a division of D&B.

Small Business Administration (SBA) certified Essnova as a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) small business effective December 20, 2016.

“Receiving certification under the SBA HUBZone Program gives our company a great opportunity to continue to develop our business, as well as generate incredible teaming relationships,” said Sridhara Gutti, President & CEO of the firm. “the HUBZone certification gives us an additional means to successfully compete for government business, which will add to our growth and our ability to bring jobs to the underutilized business zone, to our community and beyond.”

HUBZone stimulates economic development and creates jobs by providing Federal contracting preferences to small HUBZone certified businesses. The HUBZone preferences go to small businesses that obtain certification in part by employing staff who live in a HUBZone. To qualify for certification, companies must also maintain a principal office in one of the specially designated HUBZone areas. The program originated from provisions in the Small Business Reauthorization Act of 1997. Essnova is also an SBA-certified 8(a) small business.
